SEATTLE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A University of Washington football player faces charges that he raped two women in Seattle.
KING-TV reports Seattle police officers arrested 18-year-old Tylin “Tybo” Rogers on Friday and booked him into King County Jail. He was charged Tuesday with second-degree rape and third-degree rape.
A Seattle Central Community College student told police she met Rogers on the Tinder dating app last August and that he assaulted her in her apartment in October. A University of Washington student said she also met Rogers on Tinder and that he raped her last November.
The University of Washington athletic department said in a statement that Rogers has been suspended from all team activities until further notice.
