The Mariners are back in Seattle tonight.

They’re taking on the Chicago Cubs in the first game of their interleague series.

The Cubs own a 7-5 record and are coming off a lopsided 10-2 loss to the Padres.

Seattle will look to maintain momentum from Wednesday’s 10th-inning offensive showcase against Toronto.

Bryce Miller is on the mound for the M’s tonight with a chance to pick up his second win of the season.

Coverage begins at 5:30 and first pitch is at 6:40 on KPUG.

The Kraken ended their last game in Climate Pledge Arena with a dud last night.

They lost to the league-worst San Jose Sharks 3-1.

Brian Dumoulin scored in the first period to tie the game.

But the Sharks netted a pair of goals in the second to take the win.

The Kraken only have four games left to play this season.

They’ll begin the road trip against the Stars in Dallas tomorrow.

Coverage begins at 11:30 and puck drops at noon on KPUG.

The Sounders are hoping to build on their first win of the season tomorrow.

They’re hosting FC Dallas at 5:30 p.m.

Dallas sits just one point behind Seattle at the bottom of the Western Conference.

Both teams will look to get their second win.

Former UW Husky Rome Odunze will be in Detroit for the NFL Draft this month.

The star receiver will be one of 13 prospects attending the event on April 25.

Odunze is currently projected to be picked in the top 10 of the draft.

If he’s drafted before the ninth pick, he’d be the first receiver in UW history to go that early.

And one of Western Washington University’s most prominent athletes is leaving Bellingham.

Junior Kai Johnson announced via social media this week that he’s taking his talents to the University of Montana after three years with Western.

He started all 29 games for the Vikings last season on the way to earning unanimous First Team All-West Region honors.

Johnson led the GNAC in scoring and ranked 12th in NCAA Division II with 21.6 points per game.

Last year’s scoring output placed him third all-time among Western players.

Johnson earned national attention in early February when an off-the-backboard dunk against Western Oregon placed him third in ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 plays.
