SKAGIT VALLEY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – As the Oktoberfest season is upon us, beer-related festivities are already taking flight in late September.

The Port of Skagit is bringing Skagit breweries, cideries, restaurants and farmers together for Skagit Farm to Pint Fest on Sept. 28. The event not only celebrates Skagit Valley’s agricultural heritage and craft beer scene but simultaneously supports local farmers and breweries.

Each beer and cider stop at the event is paired with a local chef, restaurant or food distributor so festival attendees can enjoy a bite with their brew. The event has coined the phrase “great beer is in our dirt” as all participating breweries and cideries are Skagit-based.

“Whether you are a seasoned beer connoisseur or simply seeking a fun and festive day out, [the event] promises an experience filled with flavor, camaraderie, and the magic of the Valley’s vibrant brewing scene,” Kristen Keltz, CEO of Skagit Tourism Bureau, said.

In 2023 Skagit Farm to Pint Fest began raising funds for Genuine Skagit Valley, a program that aims to increase consumer awareness and consumption of Skagit Valley-based products and services. The event harps on the fact that attendees will enjoy beer and culinary creativity while becoming part of a movement that honors the hard work of local farmers.

The event is also hosting “Skagit-grown artists” which will include performances by local musicians Savanna Woods and the band Friends for the Ghost.

Tickets are $60 for general admission and $85 for VIP tickets.  The event will begin at 1 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 2 p.m. for GA.

Skagit Farm to Pint Fest will occur at the La Conner Marina and participants are encouraged to attend by foot, bike, boat or RV. All festival goers must be over the age of 21 years.
