BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – For 10 years, the Bellingham Band Lottery has brought musicians from different backgrounds together to raise money for a local nonprofit.
At the Wild Buffalo House of Music in downtown Bellingham, 31 musicians came together to create a one-of-a-kind show to raise money for local community organization Make.Shift Art Space.
Over 100 people were in attendance, with a total of six bands performing throughout the night. Three weeks prior to this show, musicians were randomly placed into six different bands and given 21 days to create 15 minutes of original music.
Genres ranged from hard rock to softer indie songs to reggae/hip-hop beats.
Over $500 was donated to Make.Shift at the end of the night.
