BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bussing around Bellingham is about to get easier this summer with increased service to the waterfront, hospital and more.
WTA announced on Wednesday, June 4 that it’s adding four new routes and making more frequent trips to several neighborhoods starting June 15.
Two of the new routes will increase service to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center from both downtown Bellingham and the Cordata Neighborhood.
Another new route will offer more trips from downtown to Bellingham Technical College and the Lighthouse Mission.
WTA is also increasing its existing service to the Lummi Nation, Bellingham Waterfront and the King Mountain Neighborhood.
But the new schedules come with a cut in trips through the Cornwall Park Neighborhood, Birch Bay Village and on East Bakerview Road.
