WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – This week’s Lifestyle Lookout is jam-packed with events across Whatcom County. Let’s get to it, shall we?

The 2025 Fourth Corner Punk Fest is this Saturday, July 26 at EVIL Bikes in Fairhaven. The all-ages event runs from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature two stages of punk rock sure to soothe the savage beast.

International touring acts Guttermouth, Teenage Bottlerocket, Strung Out and Face to Face will headline the festival. A second stage will feature local punk bands Meece, Ignorati, Proud Failures, Lipstitch and Boxcutter.

If that’s not enough punk rock for you, a free shuttle will ship the masses up to Bar 211 after the festival where Warp Detour will perform covers of songs from iconic bands like NOFX, Lagwagon and Bad Religion.

For tickets, go to fourthcornerpunkfest.com.

Some old-timers and college kids may have fond memories of crawling around the York Neighborhood from house party to basement show to a cozy couch for the night. This year’s York Yard Crawl will highlight the more family-friendly aspect of the neighborhood’s identity.

On Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., participants are invited to stroll from house to house in what’s described as “Bellingham’s biggest yard sale.” There will be art, live music, food, treats, pets, gardens and yard sales to explore.

Food, alcohol and public toilets will be available at Nelson’s Market (514 Potter St.). It’s a free event. Go to yorkyardcrawl.fun for all the details.

Not to be outdone by the City of Subdued Excitement, the North County is stepping up with two family-friendly events.
