BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Check your pantry: you may be harboring a staple that’s been subject to a recall.

The FDA has issued a Class 2 recall for 32-oz bags of jasmine white rice from Lundberg Family Farms.

An unspecified foreign material was reported in the contaminated bags, which have a sell-by date of Feb. 1 and 2, 2027.

Some of the impacted products were sold at grocery stores in Washington state, including Walmart, Target and Whole Foods.

Anyone who has the contaminated rice is urged not to consume it and to return it to the store where it was purchased.
