BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – 16 years after a deadly late-night shooting in downtown Bellingham, police are making a renewed push for answers.
Bellingham Police (BPD) are asking the public to take another look at the 2009 unsolved homicide of 43-year-old Bryan Marriott.
Marriott was found shot to death beside his car on East Ivy Street and N. Garden Street just after 11 p.m. on November 20th, 2009. Witnesses reported hearing an argument moments before the gunfire and seeing a dark-colored car speeding away.
BPD say the case has seen almost no new leads in sixteen years, and they’re hoping someone will remember a detail or that whoever was involved may finally come forward to give Marriott’s family long-awaited closure.
