The Brewers scored one run in the first inning, but the Mariners kept within one until the sixth, when Milwaukee ripped off five runs against Bryce Miller. They tacked on another five in the sixth and two in the seventh before scoring nine runs off utility man Leo Rivas in the eighth.

Logan Gilbert is aiming to get the M’s back on track tonight and even their series in Milwaukee. Tonight also marks the return of key trade deadline addition Taylor Ward, who’s back in the lineup after missing their past five games with leg soreness.

Seahawks News

The Seahawks are making another move to bolster their secondary.

ESPN reports that the team is planning to sign former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs to a one-year deal.

Diggs made two Pro Bowls over five seasons in Dallas, highlighted by a 2021 campaign where he recorded a league-high 11 interceptions on his way to a first team All-Pro selection. But he’s only appeared in 22 games over the past three seasons while dealing with injuries in both knees.

The 27-year-old will reunite with former Cowboys teammates DeMarcus Lawrence and Dante Fowler Jr. in Seattle.

The news follows the Seahawks agreeing with former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold on a one-year minimum deal, though it remains to be seen when Arnold will play due to his ongoing legal troubles.

Meanwhile, first-round running back Jadarian Price returned to practice earlier this week after being sidelined for nearly 10 days with lower body soreness.

Sounders/Reign News

The Sounders and Reign are both back in action tonight.

First up, the Reign are currently playing on the road against Racing Louisville as they look to extend their four match unbeaten streak.

After that, the Sounders are taking the pitch at Lumen Field against Austin FC at 6:30. They’re aiming to snap a franchise-record seven match losing streak.
