BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – New opportunities are now available for prospective students hoping to attend Western Washington University.
The university announced earlier this month that they’ve expanded their Guaranteed Admission Program to all graduating high school seniors in Washington.
Previously, the program was only available to eligible students in Whatcom, Skagit, Island, San Juan and Snohomish Counties.
Students on track to graduate from high school with a 2.75 GPA or higher can automatically qualify for the program if they apply through WWU directly or through the Common App.
My Bellingham Now previously reported that WWU President Sabah Randhawa prioritized boosting incoming class sizes during his welcome address last year.
Enrollment numbers for the 2025-26 academic year were about 300 students shy of the school’s goal.
