WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Upcoming roadwork on I-5 could slow your overnight and morning commutes this week.

WSDOT says that the left lane of I-5 southbound will close near the Guide Meridian between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 and 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.

The right lane of I-5 northbound will also close near the Guide Meridian between 8:30 a.m. and noon Thursday.

In Skagit County, the southbound left lane will close near Bow Hill Road starting at 10 p.m. Tuesday through 5 a.m. Wednesday.

And the right lane of I-5 southbound will be closed just beyond Bow Hill Road between 8:30 a.m. and noon on Wednesday.

Crews will be repairing guardrails and clearing vegetation during the closures.
