BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University reported two students and a friend were assaulted in Happy Valley neighborhood on Wednesday night, March 1st.

The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on the corner of 24th St. and Douglas Ave. when the students were approached and attacked by three men.

The victims sustained minor injuries but did not need to go to the hospital.

After the altercation, the offenders drove away in a dark blue Dodge Ram towards Fairhaven and have not yet been located.

The men were described as White or Hispanic and in their 30s, with each having a buzz-style haircut and facial tatoos.

The first male was last seen wearing a black hoody, the second had long board shorts and the third had a white tank top.
