FERNDALE, Wash. – We have some great news for local jazz fans.

The Whatcom County Library System announced on Tuesday, June 13th, they are hosting a series of free concerts this summer.

The jazz concerts are scheduled for three Saturday evenings in July and August at the Glenhaven Lakes Clubhouse, the Ferndale Library, and at the Blaine Performing Arts Center.

Bilongo, a seven-piece Latin jazz band from Bellingham, will perform.

As well the Jerry Steinhilber Trio and the Jazz Explosion.

To compliment the concerts, the Library System will also host three Jazz for Kids events.

The summer jazz program is supported by grants from Whatcom Community Foundation and the Whatcom County Library Foundation.
