BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom County will host an opioid summit later this month to address this growing community threat.
County Co-Health Officer Dr. Greg Thompson says it will be an opportunity for “learning, dialogue, and collaboration.”
The two-day event will feature presentations and panels on the background of the epidemic, prevention and treatment, young people and illegal opioid use, community-wide solutions and more.
The All Hands Summit will be at Bellingham High School June 27 and 28th from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Morning sessions will be live streamed, but all afternoon sessions will be in person.
Attendance is free.
