LOS ANGELES, CA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A former realtor with a Bellingham-based real estate group has reached a settlement over sexual harassment claims.
Court documents filed with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California last week state that the undisclosed settlement was reached shortly before a trial was set to begin.
Anya Roberts filed suit against Bellingham-based eXp Realty in 2023, alleging two top agents drugged and sexually assaulted her at work events in other cities.
The men accused of assaulting her are not Washington residents, but eXp founder Glenn Sanford was listed as a defendant.
Roberts’ suit claimed that Sanford was liable for perpetuating a recruitment culture that allowed for the assaults and inappropriate behavior to go unchecked.
The Seattle Times reports that the two agents accused of assaulting Roberts no longer work for eXp Realty.
Additional lawsuits against eXp by other former realtors are ongoing.
