BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Investigators are unsure if two break-ins and burglaries over the weekend in Fairhaven are related.
Bellingham Police spokesperson Megan Peters says that the first break-in reported was at Serendipity at approximately 4 a.m. on Saturday morning. She says that someone stole jewelry, the cash register and till.
Around noon that same day, the next-door office of Fairhaven Runners was also broken into. Someone rummaged in the office and a pair of shoes were missing according to Peters.
Something was used to pry open Serendipity’s front door, meanwhile the door may not have been fully locked to the running store’s office.
