Police logs state Brennan Haggstrom turned himself into custody just before 5 p.m. Thursday.
BPD was on the scene fast as the incident occurred in front of the police station.
The man is wanted for three different charges and is aware of the warrant for his arrest.
The murder suspect is scheduled to be arraigned on June 14.
The sheriff’s department also says he kicked a deputy in the chest while refusing a blood draw at the hospital.
He remains at the Whatcom County Jail on $75,000 bail.
Police were called to the scene at Old Samish Road Thursday.
