Kaiti Lopez was looking for a new way to contribute to food security at the time that she made the jump into the operations manager role at the Ferndale Food Bank. Juggling a variety of tasks, Lopez makes sure to keep a level head while balancing the needs of their community as well as stretching their budget to its furthest dollar.
The menu this year includes roast turkey, stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, salad, ice cream and a selection of pies.
Now through November 30th, DeWaard & Bode will match every donation—dollar for dollar—up to $150,000—to support local food banks in Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan and Island Counties.
