The Political Action Committee, who is backing three initiatives on the November ballot in Washington, may have violated campaign finance law.

With no Republican having held the governor’s post in nearly 40 years, Reichert faces an uphill battle in November.

Bob Ferguson, a Democrat who has been attorney general since 2013, will face former Republican U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert on Sept. 18.

The short-term funding will support the services through next spring.
