WWU Vikings News
Western Washington University earned a pair of runner-up finishes at the GNAC Golf Championships yesterday. Western’s men’s golf team made a charge up the leaderboard midway through the final round, but fell just short of repeating as conference champions. They were led by sophomore Nick Ennis, who tied for second individually. Meanwhile, the women’s team fired its lowest round of the season to secure second place as well. Both teams will now wait for the NCAA D-II Championships selection show in the coming days to see if they’ll book a spot in the regional tournament.
