BURLINGTON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Burlington Police are investigating after a man was shot on Sunday evening.

The Burlington Police Department (BPD) says they received reports of gunshots on East Fairhaven Avenue in Burlington a little after 6:30 p.m.

Responding officers found shell casings at the scene, and Skagit Valley Hospital later reported that a man with gunshot wounds was dropped off there. The 26-year-old man from Shelton was later transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and is reported to be in stable condition.

Investigators are working to find others who were involved in the shooting.
