BLAINE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Live music lovers and aspiring musicians will soon have a great opportunity to work on their chops in Blaine.

The Blaine Harbor Music Festival is returning to downtown Blaine from July 6 through July 12.

The music festival is an opportunity to listen and learn from award-winning artists from Whatcom County and around the world.

The festival will feature free concerts at the G Street Plaza throughout the week, culminating with a Student Showcase Spectacular on Friday, July 11 at the Blaine Performing Arts Center.

Throughout the week, musicians will teach young people ages 12 to 20 skills in music theory, jazz and improvisation.

It all wraps up on Saturday, July 12 with student performances and a street fair at the G and H Street plazas.
