Expect construction crews at Bloedel Donovan Park in the near future

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Closures aren’t expected as some new infrastructure is installed at Lake Whatcom.

Bellingham Parks and Recreation says that their crews will be working on the boat launch at Bloedel Donovan Park over the next few weeks.

They’ll be installing a new inspection gate to prevent aquatic invasive species from getting in Lake Whatcom.

During the construction period, the boat launch at Bloedel Donovan will remain open for public use. Crews will also be removing non-native plants around the launch, with plans to replace them in the near future.
