WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The housing market continues to cool off in Whatcom County.

According to Muljat Group broker Adrik Bashear, home sales in the county dropped 5% to 2,302 in 2025 compared to 2024.

The median sales price didn’t change much though, dropping 1.6% to $625,000.

Bellingham’s market held relatively steady, dropping 1.2% with a median sale price of $755,000.

Nooksack Valley saw the biggest increase in sales at 7.1 percent, while Lynden saw the steepest decline with a whopping 20.8 percent drop in sales in 2025.
