BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Warmer weather means more maintenance on our major roadways.

WSDOT is reminding drivers of a full-day closure coming to northbound I-5 this weekend.

The right lane will be closed at Samish Way starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 2 through 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Crews will also shut down the off-ramp at Lakeway Drive, which is expected to reopen around 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Concrete panels will be repoured and curing during that time.

Coming up next week, both rest areas in Custer will close for maintenence from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
