Welcome to the one-stop shop for information related to the 2026 Primary in Whatcom County, WA! As the primary draws near on Aug. 4, remember to check your mailbox for your ballot and fill it out to place it in a ballot drop box throughout the county. Here, you’ll find links to questionnaires from several local races impacting our representation in Olympia, Congress and some local seats.

According to the Auditor’s Office, just over 13% of registered voters in the county have returned their ballot as of Thursday afternoon, July 30. That’s a little bit less than this same time ahead of the 2022 primary.

Ballots are due at an official ballot drop box by 8 p.m. on Tuesday or must be postmarked by Aug. 4.
