LYNDEN, Wash. – A Lynden man was arrested after being accused of molesting a child.

Court documents state that the child reported the incident occurred at a family party in the man’s home on January 1st.

The man, who is not directly related to the child, denied any wrongdoing.

Lynden Police arrested 64-year-old Efrain Velazquez-Garfias on February 16th on a child molestation charge.

He has since been released after posting $1,000 bail.
