KIRKLAND, Wash. – A prolific western Washington car thief was arrested in Kirkland last month.

King5 reports that 38-year-old Taylor Jacob Norton was charged in King County with second-degree burglary and possession of a stolen car.

Norton has bench warrants out in Whatcom and Island counties for failing to appear in court.

Kirkland Police say he has also been linked to vehicle thefts in Skagit, Snohomish and King counties.

Norton was arrested by the Kirkland Police Department on February 28th and prosecutors asked for $50,000 bail.
