BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A man with a warrant out for a firearms charge was arrested after being caught in possession of another gun.

Court documents state that Bellingham Police noticed the gun during a traffic stop on Thursday, March 23rd.

An officer also noted that the driver, 35-year-old Dustin Owen, was wearing a leather holster.

Owen is a convicted felon and cannot possess a gun.

At the time of his arrest, he had a warrant for illegally possessing a firearm.

He remains at the Whatcom County Jail on nearly $250,000 bail.
