LUMMI NATION, Wash.- Lummi Island residents should start planning because the Whatcom Chief is just over two weeks from a scheduled dry dock.

Friday, April 28th, is the last day to move a vehicle between the island and the mainland.

Passenger-only ferry service will begin on April 29th.

The Whatcom Chief is scheduled to be out of service until May 21st.
