LYNDEN, Wash. – Lynden Police are investigating after a body was found in a creek earlier this week.

Officers located the body in the creek near Birch Bay Lynden Rd and the Guide on Tuesday afternoon.

The Whatcom County Medical Examiner is working to determine a manner and cause of death.

Police Chief Steve Taylor reports that the person has been identified, but officers are working on notifying their family before releasing any additional information.
