BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Gas prices have hit an all-time high in Washington.

AAA reports that the average price in the state currently sits at $5.57 per gallon, topping the previous record from 2022.

That’s a nearly 20 cent increase from last week.

It’s also over a dollar higher than the national average, as Washington remains the third-most expensive state in the country.

San Juan County is the priciest area in the state at $6.24 per gallon.

Meanwhile, Bellingham is sitting just below the state average at $5.48, which is only five cents away from its own record high.
