LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Whatcom County will be switching to island time this summer.

The Northwest Washington Fair has announced Hawai’ian country singer Maoli will be taking the Pacific Grandstand stage on Sunday, August 16.

Hailing from the island of Maui, Maoli’s unique blend of reggae and island pop has been keeping fans grooving for over 15 years. He also made his Grand Ole Opry debut last summer.

Tickets for Maoli will go on pre-sale Wednesday, with general public tickets going live at 9 a.m. Friday at the fair’s website.
