Anthony Canales announced Friday that he has committed to Western Washington University.
Canales averaged 23 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game with Lynden High School this past season.
He helped lead the Lions to the first three-peat in Class 2A history while winning state tournament MVP all three years.
The Lynden senior also set the school’s all-time scoring record with 1,701 points.
He joins a Vikings team dealing with a series of transfers that has left them without four of their five starters from last season’s team, including GNAC-leading scorer Kai Johnson.
