BIRCH BAY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Two more suspects have been arrested in connection to a gang-related shooting in Birch Bay.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that on Sept. 6, 54-year-old William Huskey was approached by three men from a rival motorcycle gang who demanded he remove his gang’s patches from his jacket.

Following an argument, Huskey drew a gun and a shot was fired, hitting one of the men, identified as 40-year-old Diego Uribe-Gonzalez, in the leg. Prior court documents stated the Uribe-Gonzalez was shot in the foot, but newer documents say the he was hit in the shin.

The other two retrieved their own firearms and returned fire at Huskey before all of them ultimately left the area.

Huskey and 31-year-old Roman Mayne De Isla Puga were arrested shortly afterwards.

Court documents state that warrants were issued for the Uribe-Gonzalez and the fourth suspect involved, identified as 39-year-old Jereme Robertson, on Wednesday, Sept. 9, and both were taken into custody on Friday.

All four suspects face varying charges, to include reckless endangerment, first degree robbery and drive-by shooting.
