The Mariners have the day off after playing arguably their best series of the season over the weekend.

The series capped off last night in Seattle’s first Sunday Night Baseball game on ESPN in 20 years.

Cal Raleigh had two home runs, Jorge Polanco homered and doubled and the Mariners dominated in a 12-1 blowout in the primetime matchup.

Luis Castillo backed it up with six innings of one-run ball to earn his tenth win of the season.

Meanwhile, Julio Rodriguez struck out in all five of his at-bats in his return from a high ankle sprain that sidelined him for three weeks.

The M’s are still tied with Houston for first place in the AL West.

They’re about to begin a nine-game road trip, starting tomorrow with the Detroit Tigers.

Coverage begins at 2:30 and first pitch is at 3:40 on KPUG.

The Seahawks also made a trade yesterday.

They sent center Nick Williams and a 2026 seventh-round draft pick to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a sixth-rounder in 2026.

It comes after the team recently signed veteran o-lineman Connor Williams, who Macdonald says he expects to start at center.
