Seahawks News
The Seahawks are gearing up for another primetime matchup this weekend.
They’ll look to avoid losing their third straight when they host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.
Seattle’s coming off back-to-back losses to the 49ers and Broncos, with each coming by just three points. And it’s not getting any easier against a Chiefs team that owns one of three undefeated records remaining in the NFL.
Sunday will also mark the return of reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III after he left the Hawks in free agency this past offseason. He’s now thriving in Kansas City, leading the league with 665 rushing yards as an early-season contender for MVP.
The Seahawks will still be shorthanded in their running back room, with Zach Charbonnet having been ruled out for Sunday’s game.
Coverage begins at 3:00 and kickoff is at 5:20 on KPUG.

The Huskies have the week off as they prepare for a Halloween night matchup against Nebraska.

The World Series is starting today.
The Brewers are hosting the Rays in Game 1 at 5:00 tonight.
Milwaukee’s on a roll after sweeping the defending champion Dodgers, while Tampa Bay escaped their series against Cleveland in six games.
It’s a matchup between two teams that have never won a World Series.
Game 2 will also be played at 5:00 tomorrow before the series shifts to Florida on Monday.
Kraken News
The Kraken kept up their hot start to the season last night.
They beat the Utah Mammoth 5-3 behind a pair of late goals by Mackie Samoskevich and Frederick Gaudreau.
Seattle’s seven wins and 15 points are their most through 11 games in the six-year history of their franchise.
Next up, they’re hosting the Minnesota Wild tomorrow night with a chance to win their third straight. Coverage begins at 6:30 and puck drops at 7 on KGMI.
NHL News
In other NHL news, the New Jersey Devils acquired star goaltender Connor Hellebuyck from the Winnipeg Jets today in exchange for three forwards, a goalie, a 2029 2nd-round pick and a 2027 7th.
Hellebuyck had been holding out since requesting a trade from Winnipeg over the summer.
He’s one of the most decorated active goaltenders in the NHL, with three Vezina Trophies as top goaltender, a Hart Trophy as league MVP and a sensational performance in the US’s gold medal victory over Canada in the Winter Olympics earlier this year.
WWU Vikings News
Western’s women’s soccer team extended their win streak last night.
The Vikings beat rival Seattle Pacific 2-0 on the road to win their ninth straight.
They haven’t lost a match in nearly two months and are currently ranked No. 8 in the country. The Viks are also riding a ridiculous 40-match unbeaten streak in conference play dating back to the 2023 season and are closing in on another regular season GNAC title.
They’re playing on the road against Montana State Billings at noon tomorrow with only three matches left before the GNAC Championships.
