FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – I-5 southbound is closed near Ferndale following a pursuit Friday evening, Oct. 23.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding says that traffic is being diverted to Slater Road as the investigation continues.

Troopers initially pursued the suspect vehicle for a domestic violence no-contact order violation. A PIT maneuver was used to stop the car and the suspect was taken into custody.
