The Mariners are playing the Pirates tonight as they look to rebound from a rough series in Detroit.

The M’s had won four straight games going into this week’s series against Tigers, but got swept after suffering their worst loss of the season in the series opener and falling in two late-game comebacks by Detroit in games two and three.

Seattle now sits three games back from Houston for first place in the AL West.

Pittsburgh, meanwhile, is in the midst of a 10-game losing streak as they search for their first win since Aug. 3.

Tonight’s series-opener features a duel between All-Star pitchers Logan Gilbert and Paul Skenes.

Coverage begins at 2:30 and first pitch is at 3:40 on KPUG.

The Seahawks are back in action tomorrow for their second preseason game.

They’re facing the Tennessee Titans after the teams ran joint practices in Nashville earlier this week.

Seattle’s defense highlighted the workouts, with second-year cornerback Devon Witherspoon getting two interceptions in the last joint practice yesterday.

We could see some familiar faces in tomorrow’s game, with Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs possibly suiting up in the Titans’ secondary after being released by the Seahawks earlier this year.

Coverage begins at 2 pm and kickoff is at 4:00 tomorrow on KPUG.

The Sounders are playing tomorrow night with a chance to advance to the Final Four of the Leagues Cup.

Seattle is hosting LAFC in the quarterfinals of the midseason tournament that pits the MLS against Mexican clubs from Liga MX.

LAFC has gotten the best of the Sounders in each of their last four meetings.

Tomorrow night’s game takes place at 5:00 at Lumen Field.

Russell Wilson is set to make his black-and-gold debut tomorrow.

Wilson is expected to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers in tomorrow’s preseason game against the Bills, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.

The former Seahawks quarterback has been out since suffering a calf injury on the night before the team’s first training camp practice.

He’s still competing with fellow newcomer and former Chicago Bear Justin Fields for the starting job, though all indications are that Russ will be QB1 on opening day.

The Portland Pickles and Wenatchee AppleSox are facing off in tonight’s West Coast League championship.

The AppleSox are coming off a tight 1-0 win on Wednesday that ended the Bells’ season.

The Pickles topped Corvallis 4-1 that same night, ending the Knights’ streak of seven straight WCL titles.

You can watch tonight’s championship game on the West Coast League’s streaming site.

First pitch is at 7:15.
