BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Heads up for overnight drivers on northbound I-5 in Bellingham.

The right lane of northbound I-5 will be closed overnight on April 7-8 for maintenance between Lakeway Drive and the Guide Meridian.

Tuesday night, the right lane closes from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday from just north of Iowa Street to the Guide Meridian.

Wednesday night, the right lane closes at Lakeway Drive at 9 p.m., and the Lakeway Drive on-ramp to northbound I-5 will also be closed.

Both reopen at 6 a.m. Thursday

Drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes while the Lakeway on ramp is closed.
