BLAINE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Blaine High School student accused of sexually assaulting two students on campus has pleaded not guilty.
The 16-year-old was charged with two counts of third-degree rape following arraignments in two separate cases on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
He’s also facing a fourth-degree assault charge in one of the cases.
Court documents state both of the alleged incidents occurred at the high school during the 2024-25 school year.
A judge has granted no-contact orders barring the boy from entering school property.
His next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 9, with a trial set for Dec. 21.
My Bellingham Now previously reported that the families of the two victims have sued the Blaine School District in federal court over its handling of the incidents.
The district has denied any wrongdoing and both trials are scheduled to begin in early 2028.
