BLAINE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A major Whatcom County resort is on the hunt for its next owner.

According to a listing from Crystal Investment Property, the Semiahmoo Resort was put on the market earlier this month.

The listing states that the current owners, Wright Hotels Inc, are looking to either recapitalize or sell the iconic property on the Semiahmoo Peninsula.

Wright Hotels group manage three other hotels in Washington, including a Sheraton in Seattle and the Marcus Whitman in Walla Walla. Their portfolio also includes hotels in Palm Springs, the Oregon coast and Monterey Bay.

The listing includes everything on the resort grounds, including dining, spa services and the golf course.

No listing price is available, but call-in offers are being considered through Friday, Oct. 30.

The Whatcom County Assessor’s Office states that the resort property last sold for over $19 million in 2013.
