BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham music company is thanking police after most of its stolen rare instruments were recovered.
Management at Theo Wanne said on social media that 13 of the 14 stolen saxophones were found “in good condition” in eastern Nevada.
They say police arrested the suspects, who have not been identified.
The rare and antique instruments were stolen on Memorial Day from Theo Wanne’s Bellingham location.
Theo Wanne management extended their thanks to Jay’s Music Exchange in Ely, Nevada for alerting police to suspicious activity regarding the rare instruments.
Some of the stolen saxes were over 100 years old.
One antique saxophone is still missing, and Theo Wanne continues to ask the public for their help locating it.
It is a Conn F Mezzo-Soprano saxophone with serial number 219320.
