ARLINGTON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Skagit County woman.
The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old Ruth Swanson was last seen Tuesday night at a family member’s residence in Arlington.
She’s said to be an avid hiker and has been going on frequent hikes in the area near the residence.
Swanson stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds with wavy, reddish-brown hair that drops below her shoulders.
She was last seen wearing a long sleeve thin, off-white shirt with gray leggings and cowboy boots.
Snohomish County Search and Rescue has been in the area since Wednesday night and is continuing to search Thursday.
Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
