CONCRETE, WA. – (KGMI.com) Be prepared for some interruptions if you are traveling over the Baker River bridge in Concrete this week.
Highway 20 will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic from 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 17th, through 2 a.m. on Thursday, October 19th.
Crews will be replacing the damaged and patched sections in the bridge’s westbound lane with new concrete slabs.
WSDOT says the work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled.
The Baker River bridge is one of 17 across King, Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties receiving repairs as part of the state’s Strategic Concrete Bridge Deck Preservation project.
