BELLINGHAM, WA, – (KGMI.com) Drivers across Washington will be seeing more treats than tricks at the pumps ahead of Halloween this year.

AAA predicts that prices will continue to drop, even as the threat of war continues to swell in the Middle East.

That prediction should remain unchanged, so long as other major oil-producing countries stay out of the conflict.

In Whatcom County, the average price for a gallon of gas is $4.72, down over 10 cents from a week ago and 17 cents from last month.

The state average has also seen a small drop to $4.90 as the summer travel season tapered off, down from $5.04 a month ago.
