BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) Election Day is just two weeks away, so here are some tips to help you make sure your vote counts.

The Whatcom County Auditor’s Office says residents who still need to register to vote or update their address online or by mail can do so through Monday, October 30th.

Anyone who misses that deadline can still register to vote or update their information in person.

Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by Election Day, November 7th, to be counted and the U.S. Postal Service recommends putting it in the mail by October 31st.

They can also be returned in an official ballot drop box until 8 p.m. on November 7th.
