BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A second man has been sentenced for his role in a fatal gang-related shooting in Bellingham.

Court documents state 21-year-old Alan Ramos will spend just over four years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree manslaughter and third-degree assault.

He was arrested in connection to drive-by shooting on the Guide Meridian in October 2025 that killed 26-year-old Daytin Duronso-Harp and injured another 25-year-old man.

Ramos will spend a year and a half in community custody after his prison sentence is up.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that his brother, 19-year-old Royelio Marquez, pleaded guilty to rendering criminal assistance earlier this year and was sentenced to seven months in prison.

According to Bellingham Police detectives, both Ramos and Marques had known the victims through their gang affiliations, though court documents did not mention a specific motive for the shooting.
