BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A new website has been launched in an effort to connect more people with opioid and overdose prevention resources.

Several agencies and organizations in Whatcom County teamed up to create the website.

Site features include free naloxone kit ordering, local overdose statistics, and information on local prevention resources.

The website will be managed by a Multi-Agency Coordination Group, which consists of local health officials, community organizations, government officials, and others.

The group was created in reponse to the local opioid and overdose epidemic, mainly fueled by fentanyl and fentanyl-laced drugs.
