BELLNGHAM, Wash. – A free event from All Hands Whatcom and the Bellingham Public Library looks to provide more education and community discussion regarding the current fentanyl, meth and opioid crisis.
Leading the event will be Sam Quinones, author of the book “The Least of Us: True Tales of America and Hope in the Time of Fentanyl and Meth”.
All Hands Whatcom looks to continue the success of their Opioid Summit last month in creating an oppurtunity to bring a better understanding of the drug problem and how to address it.
The community gathering is free to the public and will take place 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 1st at Bellingham High School.
